J. Pederson Consulting, Inc. was established in 2011 by Jenna Pederson. Jenna is a lifetime resident of the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. She is an independent software engineering consultant focusing on agile development, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota – Duluth and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.

Over the last eleven years, she has played a number of roles in the development of building multi-tier applications for both the web and desktop. With experience from the front-end all the way down to the physical servers, from development to business analysis and testing, Jenna is a passionate developer who enjoys getting other engineers excited about the technology and how to solve business problems. She is experienced in mentoring and coaching development teams and strives to promote software design and implementation best practices among her team. Jenna is also a strong advocate for test driven development, automated testing, and pair programming.
